Apple & Blackberry Tortilla Pies

A delicious low fat twist on a traditional favourite!
Ingredients
- 2 apples, Peeled, cored and diced
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon
- 100g blackberries
- 2 tortilla wraps, Low calorie
- 1 egg, Beaten
- 2 tsp icing sugar
- 8 sprays calorie controlled cooking spray
- (OPTIONAL) 20g flaked almonds

Preheat the oven to 200°C / 180°C (fan oven) / 395°F / Gas Mark 6 and mist a nonstick baking tray with cooking spray.

Put the apple, granulated sugar and cinnamon in a microwave safe bowl and toss to coat. Add 1 tsp cold water, cover with clingfilm and microwave on high for 2-3 minutes or until just tender. Drain well then set aside to coll before mashing with the blackberries to form a chunky mixture. Set aside.

Cut the wrap/s in half, then spoon the apple and blackberry mixture onto one side of each piece, leaving a border. Brush the borders with a little of the egg, then fold the wrap to enclose the filling, pressing down with a fork to seal the edges.

Put the pie/s on the prepared baking tray, brush all over the remaining egg and scatter over the almonds, if using. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until crisp and golden. Serve dusted with the icing sugar.
