Poached Pear with Almonds

A good combination of flavours as part of a healthy dessert.
Ingredients
- 4 pears, peeled, cored and halved
- 4 tsp maple syrup
- 16 almonds, roasted
- 4 tbsp fat-free fromage frais
Directions

Place the pears in a pan, cover with water and poach gently for 8-10 minutes or until tender, then drain.

Put 2 pear halves in each bowl, top with 4 chopped almonds, drizzle with maple syrup and serve with fromage frais.
